The lockdown is now slowly lifting, and we are ready, in anticipation of approval by the Government, to be fully open for June 1st.
We have received Government guidance about how workplaces must prepare for a safe full opening, which we have already been working to. We are Covid Secure having undertaken our risk assessments and have organised our operation to keep staff and customers as safe as possible. We have ensured that all social distancing and hygiene measures are also in place.
Since the lockdown, it has been a priority for us to provide a safe environment for our customers and staff. We are fortunate that our building layout, with separate desks, receptions and entrances has made this possible. We have a core body of staff working at the Dealership ensuring we can continue to support our business needs with plans to have all customer facing staff back in situ shortly.
In accordance with Government guidelines our showroom is currently closed but our Service Department, Parts Department and Repair Workshop have remained open, offering essential services for our customers, in our local area and beyond. It has been great to help keep key workers on the road. In order to help us all keep safe we have been providing a personal service to our customers. For service, MOT and repairs we are able to collect and deliver your car back to you, having sanitised inside the car and all touch points. We have recently installed a Key Drop area for service and repair customers and will shortly have an App for customers to help with communication.
For car sales we are able to make individual appointments for you to view cars. If you are interested in looking at a car, with no obligation, we can make an appointment for you. This can be at a pre-determined time where you can look round and sit in a car, on your own and at your own pace. The car will be parked outside the front of the Showroom and will be fully cleaned before you arrive. After amending our insurance, we are now also able to offer ‘non-accompanied’ test drives for both New and Used enquiries subject to a driving licence check.
